The starters were half decent.
We found the restaurant through Michelin, but the dinner felt like a complete ripp-off. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu, and on my plate I found the smallest piece of fish I have ever been served - on top of a huge pile of mashed potatoes. The whole thing was covered with mushroom sauce, which made it look rather unappetizing, but I guess the purpose was to cover the minute piece of fish. Basically, it was a bowl of mash. I would not recommend a visit. We found other places in Oxford that offered more value for money.

Have eaten here on many occasions, and enjoy the slightly 'rough' surroundings, no frills furnishings, quite continental in feel. Always good fish, indeed generally a good experience. Fair prices too. Well worth a visit.
Often have to book, and even then may have to wait a while for a table to come free. But worth it!
